1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Little Mecha Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent digital product studio based in Cairo, Egypt.
Location: Cairo, Egypt Contact: contact@littlemechalabs.com
These terms govern your use of the website at littlemechalabs.com (the “site”), including its pages, case studies and contact form. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
These terms do not govern any work we do for you. If we take on a project together, that engagement — scope, fees, payment, ownership of deliverables, warranties and everything else — is set out in a separate written agreement, and that agreement takes precedence over anything here.
2. Who may use the site
You must be at least 16 to use the site or send us an enquiry. If you contact us on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm you're allowed to do so.
3. What the site is for
The site presents who we are, the services we offer and examples of our work, and lets you get in touch. Everything on it is general information about the studio. It is not professional advice, and nothing on the site is an offer that becomes a contract just by you accepting it — a project only starts when we've both signed the separate agreement described in section 1.
4. Enquiries and the contact form
When you send an enquiry through the form or by email:
- you agree to give accurate contact details so we can reply;
- you agree not to send anything unlawful, abusive, or that you don't have the right to share (including someone else's confidential information);
- you understand that sending an enquiry doesn't create a client relationship, an obligation on us to respond, or any duty of confidentiality beyond what our Privacy Policy says about your personal data. If you want to share something confidential about your project, tell us first and we'll put an NDA in place;
- you accept that we rate-limit the form and discard automated submissions to prevent spam.
How we handle the personal data you send us is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
5. Acceptable use
You may browse the site and share links to it freely. You may not:
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site's content, other than through ordinary search-engine indexing;
- probe, scan or test the site for vulnerabilities, or try to bypass its security or rate limits;
- use the contact form to send spam, marketing, malware, or anything unrelated to a genuine enquiry;
- interfere with the site's operation or place unreasonable load on it;
- impersonate us, our team or our clients, or misrepresent your relationship with us;
- use the site in any way that breaks the law where you are.
We may block access from anyone who breaches these rules.
6. Our content and intellectual property
The site's design, code, text, illustrations, the Little Mecha Labs name and logo, the mascot and the handwritten marks are ours or licensed to us. They are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may not copy, adapt, redistribute or use them commercially without our written permission, except for the fair, non-commercial sharing of links and short quotations that credit us.
Client work. The case studies show work we've made for clients — Turathy, Qiyami, HR Flow and Quorum among them — and we show it with their permission. Each client's product, name, logo and screenshots remain that client's property. They appear here only to illustrate our work, and nothing on the site gives you any right to use them. If you own or represent a product shown here and want anything changed or removed, email us and we'll act promptly.
Third-party marks. Any other company names, logos or trademarks that appear on the site belong to their owners. Their appearance doesn't imply endorsement or a partnership.
Open-source components. The site is built with open-source software used under its own licences, which are unaffected by these terms.
7. Links to other sites
The site links to our social profiles and to products we've built, such as quorumqr.app. Those sites are run by others (or, in the case of a shipped product, under the client's own terms). We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability or how they treat your data.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the site available but don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always up to date. We may change, suspend or remove any part of the site at any time without notice, including case studies and the services we list.
9. Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it — express or implied — including as to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or that it is free of viruses or other harmful components. Case-study figures and descriptions reflect the projects as we delivered them and aren't a promise of results for anyone else.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or anything on it — including indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or business interruption — whether in contract, tort or otherwise, even if we were told it was possible.
The site is free to use; because you pay us nothing for it, our total liability to you in connection with the site, for any cause, is limited to the greater of what the law does not allow us to exclude and EGP 1,000.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you.
11. Your responsibility to us
If your breach of these terms causes a claim against us by someone else, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses we suffer as a result.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through the site, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have. Please read it — by using the site you acknowledge it.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute about them or the site that we can't resolve between us will be heard by the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt. If you are a consumer in a country whose law gives you the right to bring proceedings at home, nothing here takes that right away.
Before going to court, we'd rather talk: email contact@littlemechalabs.com and we'll try to sort it out.
14. General
- Changes. We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date at the top shows when. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept it. Material changes are flagged on the site for a period after they take effect.
- Entire terms. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the site. They don't replace any separate agreement we sign for a project.
- Severability. If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
- No waiver. If we don't enforce something straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- Assignment. We may transfer our rights under these terms if the studio changes hands; you may not transfer yours without our written consent.
- Language. These terms are written in English; an Arabic version is provided for convenience. If they differ, the English version prevails.
